The game currently only covers the mid-war period, the eastern front, the desert war in North Africa,and the fighting in Italy, but the rules for late war armies are due for relese in the autumn of 2006. Currently the armies playable are; German Wehrmacht, Fallschirmjager(airborne), Deutsch Afrika Corps., and SS units, U.S. Army (including Rangers and Airborne units), British and it's empire troops (India, Australia, Canada, South Afrika, New Zealand, Scotland, and Ireland, the U.S.S.R.(Communist Russia), Italian Bersaglieri (elites) and Fucilieri(conscripted troops), and most recently Hungarians (German Allies). More German allies are on their way in the form of Finnish troops. The rules are being updated in the autumn of 2006 to the second version. Sometime later the pacific theater will be released but that is after early war Europe is released. It is (currently) a WWII-only game with rules relatively lower in complexity as Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000.
